1). CONDITIONS – Please make sure you are familiar with the conditions & rules of the classes you intend to enter in addition to any qualifier specific requirements detailed in this schedule. Full details are available on the CLONMEL SHOW website and on the links in the Qualifier Classes. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure your entry meets the conditions of the Clonmel Show and the criteria of the classes you are entering. Fence heights and animal and rider specifics can be found on the links on CLONMEL SHOW website.


2). TIMETABLE – Study the timetable before you enter. Only the ring start time is published. All classes will then follow on. It is your responsibility to be at your class on time. We cannot hold classes in the event of a clash or if you are late. Each ring will display the current class number. We will also endeavour to update how rings are proceeding on the public address system, but it may not be audible in all areas of the show grounds.
We will publish the numbers entered in each class prior to the show. However, depending on the number of entries who turn up, classes may run earlier or later than estimated. Give yourself plenty of time.
RING START TIMES AND CLASS RUNNING ORDER ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON ENTRIES BY ORDER OF THE COMMITTEE


3).  IDENTIFICATION OF STALLIONS- RIDDEN AND LED
Stallions should wear a Stallion Badge on their Bridle. Riders must have attained their 12th birthday on 1st January of the current year when riding stallions not exceeding 137.2cms. Stallions in excess of 137.20cms must be ridden by riders who have attained their 14th birthday on 1st January of current year. In Class 73, RIHS Open WH Horse, competing stallions must have a red, white and blue ribbon displayed on their tail. In Led Horse Classes, stallions to have white or blue ribbons in their tails.


4.] The Committee reserves the right to alter the running times of Classes, to amalgamate classes where there are insufficient entries and to change the allocation of Judges. Class prizemoney will be adjusted accordingly, viz
3 entries, class prizemoney will operate as per schedule
2 entries, 2/3 of prizemoney will be paid and percentage accordingly etc.

 

 

 

 

 


 

Showing Ireland points can be collected at Clonmel Show for their Awards League. The Riders wishing to take part will have to register with Showing Ireland [SI] before they can accrue points. It is therefore very important for these riders to declare the rider on the entry form. Clonmel Show will confirm the results to Showing Ireland post-show.

For horses 4 years older, mares and gelding, any height. Riders minimum age 16yo. ● Horses that have won a Racehorse to Riding Horse class in previous seasons must compete in the Open class. ● Horses to be ridden in a snaffle, pelham or simple double bridle with a plain cavesson noseband. Riders will be asked to extend the canter with the class. Horses to be ridden by the judge. There is NO championship associated with these classes. Eligibility: ● Horses competing in the Tattersalls Ireland Treo Eile Showing Pathway series, must be registered with Treo Eile (FREE on www.treoeile.com/register). ● All entries must have a Weatherbys or equivalent racing authority passport. The passport must be available for checking at the show. ● Horses must be entered using the name as per the Weatherbys or equivalent recognised foreign racing authority passport. Prizes: ● The winner of both the NOVICE section and the OPEN section will receive a Tattersalls Ireland Treo Eile Showing Pathway Series rug. ● 1st - 6th will receive Tattersalls Ireland Treo Eile Showing Pathway Series rosettes. ● 1st - 6th will receive Prize Fund Request Forms - these are to be submitted to anne.oconnor@treoeile.com by the prize winner and the Treo Eile office will arrange payment of prize money on receipt. PRIZES; At each of the qualifiers: The winner will receive a Tattersalls Ireland rug. First to sixth placed with receive Tattersalls Ireland Treo Eile Showing Pathway Series rosettes. There will be a prize fund of €300 per class which will be shared as follow €100, €75, €50, €25, €25, €25. QUALIFICATION FOR THE FINAL The first and second prize winners in the Novice and the Open class at each qualifier, will qualify for the final.  In the case where the first and/or second placed horse has already qualified, the next placed horse may qualify for the final at the judges discretion. Combinations may only compete in one section (either Novice or Open) at the final of the Tattersalls Ireland Treo Eile Showing Pathway series. A Novice combination that has qualified for the final, and also qualifies in an Open qualifier throughout the series, must compete in the Open section of the Treo Eile Pathway series final. The qualified rider/horse combination, may only compete at the Final of the series  JUDGING OF THE FINAL   A Confirmation and a Ridden judge will be used at the final. At the final: The winner of each category will receive a rug. First to sixth placed Tattersalls Ireland Treo Eile Showing Pathway Series Final rosettes. The final will have a prize fund of €1,125 per class (€500, €250, €150, €100, €75, €50). Each competitor who takes part in the final will receive a ‘Final’ rosette. 1st & 2nd will go forward for the Ridden Horse Championship, Class 62, part of Showing Ireland league. Showing Ireland [SI] points can be collected at Clonmel Show for their Awards League. Riders must register with SI to accrue points. It is very important therefore to declare the rider on the entry system. Clonmel Show will confirm the results to SI after the Show.  Showing Ireland Guidelines
