3yo young Horse – Potential to make a high-class hunter.
Welcome to the 2026 equestrian schedule. This year, we will have 6 showing rings with 15 judges, up to 60 stewards, 77 classes, 28 championships, 2 Supreme Championships and many prestigious qualifiers: 7 HOYS qualifiers, 2 Tatts/ Treo Eile qualifiers and the Red Mills Champion of Champions Qualifier. Clonmel Show, together with Showing Ireland, offer a Mid-Season Double points Bonus for all Riding classes placings from 1st to 6th for their Members Points Award Series. Similarly, points for the Side Saddle Championships, sponsored by Carr & Day & Martin, can be earned in our Side Saddle section. Clonmel Show, in partnership with Killusty Show, is offering a Trip to Tipp Bonus for their weekend of Showing. The same pony rider combinations who win the same classes at both shows will win a €50 bonus in selected classes viz. *Open Working Hunter Pony-133cm, 143cm, 153cm, Starter Stakes & Intermediate * Open Show Hunter Pony- 133cm, 143cm, 153cm, Starter Stakes & Intermediate *Open Show Pony 128cm, 138cm & 148cm. Ridden Connemara, over 16 years & under 16 years. Different Judges at each show. The stabling at Clonmel Racecourse will be available for competitors travelling to both shows. * New for 2026 * The two highest placed AIRC Rider Members from classes in Ring 2 will go forward for Class 48, the ‘Clonmel Riding Club Peter Ponsonby Memorial Cup’.

Young Horse – Potential to make a high-class hunter. All exhibitors leading equines in this competition must be 16 year or over on Jan 1st of the current year. First and second placed in this class are eligible to contest Class 35. Champion from class 35 eligible to contest Class 62 Price In-Hand Supreme Championship. No entries permitted on day of event.
Rosettes to 6th place. A Best-Turned-Out rosette will be awarded.
