We have a new OPEN CRADLE STAKES class and a new RIDDEN HUNTER PONY 4YR OLD FOR CHILDREN UNDER 17, these should add to the already busy programme.

1. The aim of this championship is to encourage the breeding of Irish Draught Foals.
2. The championship is open to all foals eligible for R.I.D. status.
3. 1 foal to be selected at each qualifier. A 2nd foal may be selected at the discretion of the judges.
4. The Dam’s passport must be produced for inspection at the qualifying rounds and at the final.
5. The foal’s passport must be produced at the final.
6. One of the judges at the qualifying shows to be from the I.D.H.S. panel of judges, if possible.
7. Foals competing at the final are ineligible to compete in any other class at Bantry Show.
8. There will be separate classes for coal foal and filly foals at the final.
9. The Champion will be selected from the winners of each class.

2. Each entry must have her passport available for checking by the I.S.A. Representative, both to the Qualifying Show and to the Final to confirm that she is eligible to compete. No filly will be allowed to compete unless her passport is in order.
3. Two Animals in each qualifying class may be selected to compete in the final provided the judges agree the standard is high enough.
4. One of the judges at the qualifying show must be from the Irish Draught Horse Society.

9. The Coolmore Stud Thoroughbred Broodmare Class.
Conditions. This Class is confined to thoroughbred meares registered in Weatherbys General Stud Book or Weatherbys Non Thoroughbred Stud Book, likely to produce a racehorse.
Judging will be based on conformation. Passports must be produced. In the interest of safety foals must be led at all times.
