The Pet Show will be judged in Ring 1 in front of the Grand Stand at 3.00 p.m. with prizes for every competing child and their pet. There will be special prizes for the best, the smallest, the best mannered, the best groomed, the most alert and the most unique and oddest pets. The Muiris Dromey Memorial Perpetual Cup will be awarded to the " Best pet in the Show"
The qualifier for the Gain Dogfood all Ireland Championship will be held after the Pet Show . There will be two classes - one for toy or miniature dog any breed to be handled by a child under 15 years. and another class for a large dog of any breed handled by an adult or teenager. Entry fee for the qualifier is €2. To Final €6 The Final will be held in Clonaslee Show on Sunday 9th September 2007.
Children and their pets are admitted free to Powerstown Park on the day..

Final: Kilgarvan Show - Sunday 31st July 2011.
RULES & CONDITIONS
- Small dog any breed to be handled by a child under 16.
- Large dog any breed to be handled by an Adult
- One dog from each entry to qualify
- Entries in this championship may compete in any other classes at Kilgarvan Show.
- All dogs must enter ring without rosettes
- These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.
- Please forward the names of the qualifiers to the secretary of the Kilgarvan Show on or before 22nd July 2011.
