Dog Agility
Make sure that you do not miss the Dog Agility Classes when you come to Clonmel Show, they are situated in front of the Main Stand.
This year, 2010, the Midwest Dog Training Club will be holding its first Championship Agility Competition this entails an extra 3 classes. There will be two qualifier rounds one jumping and one agility and the highest placed 50% of the dogs entered go forward to the final .Only the top dogs( IKC grade 7) came compete in the Championship Classes, we wish all the Grade 7 dogs and their handlers the best of luck on the day and hopefully one dog will go home with the much sought after Green Star, When a dog is awarded 7 Green Stars it can add “IKC Agility Champion” to its name.
We will have all the other agility dogs competing in agility and jumping classes throughout the day so come on down to the Agility Ring and be entertained by all the dogs , the big the small the hairy the slow and the fast dogs compete all day long starting a 9am with the first Championship Qualifier Round.
Our judge for the day will be Mr. Nigel Tate form Wexford.
So come on down to the Clonmel Show on the 4th. July and see man and his best friend compete in the exciting sport of Agility.
Lots of entertainment for all the family, as you watch dogs of all shapes and sizes performing to the highest of standards in the classes.
